Details

The whole boneless Parma Ham weighs approximately 7.5 kg and should be kept at a temperature of 2-4 C°.
It's supplied vacuum-packed as is the picture above; refrigerated, still vacuum-packed, it can last up to 6 months, while once opened we suggest to keep it refrigerated wrapped in a dampened cotton cloth.

According to ancient traditions, only top quality pork meat in strictly selected in order to obtain a product of supreme excellence. The meat is then salted and seasoned for 20 months with no added preservatives in this valley, that is unique for its climatic conditions favorable for a perfect natural seasoning.
This is a product of absolute and secure quality: every ham is certified by the prestigious trademark of Consorzio di Parma, the producers association which disciplines and protects genuine Parma Ham production since 1963.

Nutritional Properties
Although just a few people know it, it's a matter of fact that Parma Ham is a really valid food in low calories diets: deprived of visible fat, 100g of ham have less fat than beef and turkey meat.
